Service Area / DEL MAR

In Del Mar, the salt air is brutal and everyone can see your entry. Both matter here.

Courtyards, patios, driveways, and pool decks for Del Mar's coastal homes — stained, sealed, and restored with finishes that match the village's standard and stand up to its salt air.

Local knowledge

Half the homes here are a block from the water. That's a sealing problem before it's a looks problem.

Del Mar lots are tight and every square foot is visible — the entry walk, the courtyard, the pool surround. Worn gray concrete drags down homes that are otherwise immaculate, and on streets where property values run where they do, the concrete is often the last unfinished detail.

Homes west of Camino del Mar take the full force of salt air and fog; unsealed concrete there erodes visibly within a few years. Up in Del Mar Heights, the bigger issue is sun-faded color and decades-old pool decks in the canyon-rim communities — many of them HOA-managed, where deck safety is a board-level liability question.

We treat small, high-stakes projects as exactly that. A 400-square-foot courtyard gets the same sampling, prep discipline, and coastal-grade sealing as an estate driveway — because in Del Mar, that courtyard is the first thing everyone sees.

Common questions in Del Mar

Questions we get before every job.

Do you take on smaller projects, like a single courtyard or entry walk?

Yes — Del Mar is built on exactly those projects. Small footprint doesn't mean small stakes; a visible courtyard gets full sampling, prep, and coastal-grade sealing. We'll quote it honestly, and if the smartest move is bundling it with a future resealing visit, we'll tell you that too.

How often does concrete need resealing this close to the beach?

West of Camino del Mar, plan on every two to three years; further up the Heights, three to four is typical. The honest answer depends on exposure and the prior product, which is why we inspect before we prescribe — and offer scheduled resealing so you never have to think about it.

Can you work with our HOA on a community pool deck?

Yes. We provide board-ready proposals with current-condition photos, clear scope, full insurance documentation, and resident-friendly scheduling. If your board needs a no-cost deck assessment to start the conversation, that's exactly what it's for.
